[08.11.08] Super-final delayed to sunday

By reason of changing weatherconditions the super-final, which was scheduled for today’s afternoon, was delayed to Sunday. According to the forecasts for tomorrow the weather should be really good, so that was the best decision for all involved persons. However, the qualification for tomorrow’s super-final could be carried out like scheduled. The invited pros and the best riders of yesterday’s qualification fought hard to make it into tomorrow’s super-final. After the young, Finnish rider Niki Korpela could stick the first fs10 today you can expect real fireworks of tricks for tomorrow when the sky is blue and the big jam-kicker is open. In the end 20, instead of originally 10 planned riders, could qualify for tomorrow super-finals, which is another benefit of the delay. Following riders will start in tomorrow’s super-final:

Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam – Qalification Day

Against all bad forecasts the weather at the Atomic Superpark Dachstein wasn’t that bad today. The visibility was also better than expected and so it was possible to carry out the qualification of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam like scheduled. The riders, motivated by these circumstances, gave their best. Actually we saw several 7s and even 9ers, although the big jam-kicker was closed ‘cause of little to strong winds. Following, of overall 58 participating girls and boys, made it into tomorrow’s finals, where they get the chance to fight for a total of 20.000 USD against the invited pros.

The Rider who pulls the best trick tomorrow can also be happy about a 3-week surftrip to Bali. All in all you can expect lots of action by tomorrow and if you didn’t made it to the mountain today, don’t miss the finals tomorrow.

 

[06.11.08] Counting days has come to an end!

Tomorrow (07.11.08) it's about time again: It's "Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam-Time" The setup is already done and is just waiting for you to ride it. QParks-Parkdesigner Bernd Mandlberger and his team made possible what seemed to be impossible. He shaped a perfect Atomic Superpark Dachstein with almost any snow. At the moment it also seems as if the timetable can be kept. In the end there is only one thing left to say: "You'll be sorry if you don't visit the Dachstein this weekend."

[29.10.08] contest setup

As you can see above, there'll be two public lines and one contest line during the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam. Everybody is welcome and there is plenty of stuff to ride for shredders of all ridinglevels. And now, get your Board out of the cellar and don’t even think about missing this event! Winter is coming, c you there!

 

[28.11.08] The clock’s ticking…

Only few days left till the Dachstein-Glacier in the Region Schladming-Dachstein will be venue of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam 2008. There'll be a contest-line and two public-lines for those shredders who don't want to leave all the action to the pros. The team is already working at high preassure so it'll be possible to realize the intended setup.

From the 7^th to 9^th November 2008 the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam is going for its 6^th sequel. As a TTR 4 Star Event for the first time this year, the contest lures the elite of international snowboardpros to the Atomic Superpark Dachstein, located at the Dachstein-glacier. So you can expect some of the biggest names in snowboarding among the competitors:

Austria’s most talented riders like Gigi Rüf, Stefan Gimpl, Chris Kröll, Sani Alibabic and many more will compete against international superstars like Eero Ettala ( Fin), Andreas Wiig (Nor), Markku Ksoki (Fin) or Markus Keller (Sui). But it’ll be best when u take a look at the list of participants yourself. Additionally the best 15 starters of the qualification get the chance to fight for the 20.000 USD of prize money, as well as some special awards, like a 3-week-surftrip to the legendary Balicamp, against the invited pros.

The team is waiting in the wings and starts with the setup next week. QParks-Parkdesigner Bernd Mandlberger and his crew will enlarge the great setup with as many small and medium elements as possible. This should also give the freshmen a chance to have a funny day in the park without any injuries. Look forward to ride with international snowboard professionals and enjoy the beginning of the new winter season. Everybody is motivated to have a great time on the mountain.
